Das Ehrenzeichen "Eiserner Roland" is an original heavy metal Nazi BADGE featuring "Iron Roland". It says: VRIJHEIT DO IK OPENBAR BREMEN 1919 commemorating the revolt of citizens of the Hanseatic city of Bremen against the Communists in 1919. A March 1937 Nazi decree allowed citizens of Hitler's Germany to wear these and about 2000 of the medals were awarded between 1937 and 1944. It is very rare, and this is NOT a modern reproduction! Condition exactly as shown left - some old solder residue on the pin. |
