Panel 2 is completely devoted to the Nürnberger Rassengesetze, the “National Law for the Protection of German Blood”. The text mentions that the book itself also explains the Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases, population policies, marriage, etc.
Panel 3 shows illustrations from Du bist sofort im Bilde that deal with the organization of the NSDAP, the role of a Nazi Reichsleiter, the DAF and the back panel has illustrations from the book about the German Wehrmacht, the RKK and the second economic Four Year Plan.
This rare original advertising brochure for Du bist sofort im Bilde also contains an order form for the book which was offered for 6.80 Reichsmarks (the equivalent of US$2.72).
This original Nazi book advertising is in remarkable shape! It was clearly stored flat and away from light during the last 80 years, and it has no odor. We have never seen another one!

This rare four-panel 8-½ x 11 inch adverting piece was produced for “the new German citizens in Austria” and explains that “they too need this important book!” The advertising uses many of the illustrations from the book that explain the policies of the government of the Third Reich such as the German economy, the Hitler Youth, Kraft durch Freude (KdF or Strength through Joy), WHW charities, the NSV, all under the leadership of the “creator of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler”.

This is a very rare original advertising brochure from 1938 for a wonderful Third Reich book called DU BIST SOFORT IM BILDE - Lebendig-anschauliches Reichsbürger Handbuch (INSTANT INFORMATION - a Lively Graphic Handbook for Citizens of the Reich). That rare book was written and illustrated to explain a very, very complex series of subjects - racial and other laws, as well as the internal workings of the various paramilitary and military units of the Nazi Party and the German Government - and their relationship to and impact upon the individual, the family and the nation.
Over the years many of our customers have purchased copies of DU BIST SOFORT IM BILDE and have found it to be very informative with respect to how Third Reich Germany functioned. Few of them (if any) have ever seen an example of this direct mail brochure.
