The subtitle of the Third Reich book Wir wiederholen Flugmotorenbau (We Recap Aircraft Engine Production) is "1400 Questions and Answers about Airplane Engine Technology, Materials, Labor and Technical Calculations". The technical information in this 5-7/8 x 8-1/8 inch, 176 page softcover Third Reich aviation book was assembled by flight engineer Dr. Alfred Spraul and it was published by Dipl.-Ing. Bohmann, Verlag für Fachliteratur of Vienna in 1943.
According to the December 1942 foreword by the author, the "national German struggle for freedom" required a lot of the German aviation industry and has increased the need for a larger number of skilled workers. Well-trained, knowledgeable and ever-improving laborers are the only way for "our Luftwaffe" to stay one step ahead of the rest of the world. Careful education and targeted research are a necessity.
In a clear and to-the-point way chapters in Wir wiederholen Flugmotorenbau cover airplane engine pistons, spark plugs, pumps, gears, cooling, lubrication, assembly, parts made of tin, alloy, copper, Duraluminum and other material, propellors, tools, screws, etc. There are measurement schematics and tables as well as 69 technical illustrations of propellors, belt drives, cylinders, temperature gauges, screws heads, etc.
All the material covered is according to standards authorized by the Reichsluftfahrtministerium (Nazi Air Ministry) in Berlin, in cooperation with flight oriented technical schools.
This original 80+ year old Nazi aviation book is complete and in very good, little-used condition. No odor.
