Führer des Volkes (Leader of the Nation) is a rare and little known, early Third Reich publication that introduced the members of the new National Socialist Hitler cabinet in Germany. It is Band 11 or Volume 11 of a series of books published by Lorentz Kurz-Bücher, a publishing company in Berlin.

President Paul von Hindenburg and Chancellor Adolf Hitler are the first two people pictured in this 5-1/8 x 7-1/8 inch 48-page softcover book, followed by biographies of Rudolf Hess, Franz von Papen, Werner von Blomberg, Hermann Goering, Dr. (of Philosophy) Joseph Goebbels, Dr. Wilhelm Frick, Graf Schwering von Krosigk. R. Walter Darré, Dr. Robert Ley, Baldur von Schirach, Dr. Hans Frank and others (see complete list, left).

Each one-page biography is accompanied by a full-page portrait photo of the National Socialist cabinet member, complete with photo accreditation (Hoffmann, New York Times, Keystone, etc.).
This rare original Nazi book from 1933 is complete and in very nice used condition. The cover has darkened a bit during the last 87 years and the spine shows minor wear, but the pages are in fine condition. No odor.
